5 th week of TP2

During the week from 17/11 to 21/11, my teaching practice was filled with meaningful learning experiences and responsibilities. Each day I reached school by 9:00 am, signed the attendance register, and prepared for my classes. I handled regular periods in both the 9th and 8th standards, completing the lessons as planned and engaging students through discussions and activities. On 17/11, I also conducted a diagnostic test for the 8th standard and later corrected the papers, which helped me understand students’ learning levels more clearly. I had a few substitution duties during the week and also performed noon duty regularly, which strengthened my sense of responsibility as a teacher. One memorable experience was motivating students by appreciating their performance and giving small gifts to high scorers, which made them genuinely happy and encouraged better participation. Throughout the week, I observed students’ behaviour across different settings and improved my time management, patience, and flexibility. Overall, this week helped me balance academic work, assessment, and extra duties, shaping me further as a reflective and responsible teacher trainee.
