Capacity building programme on Health, Nutrition & First aid

On the afternoon of 10th September, a capacity-building programme was conducted, focusing on health, nutrition, and first aid. The session was led by Dr. Sandeep K. Raj, an Assistant Surgeon and Pediatrician from the Kerala Health Service.

Dr. Sandeep delivered an insightful presentation on important topics such as first aid, nutrition, and overall health. His talk provided valuable guidance on maintaining good health and highlighted the specific health concerns of adolescents. He also addressed the issue of malnutrition among students, which is a significant challenge in schools.

One of the key areas covered was the essential first aid measures that teachers can apply in schools, equipping educators with the necessary skills to respond to emergencies effectively.

Overall, the session was an enlightening experience, providing practical knowledge and useful tips on promoting health and well-being in an educational setting. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about student health and how to implement first aid practices in a school environment.
