Day 2 of the Induction Program

Today marked the second day of our induction program, and it was a day filled with interesting experiences and active participation. The day began with the morning assembly, which was conducted in English. It was an engaging start to the day, setting a positive tone for the activities that followed.

After the assembly, I had the opportunity to meet with my social science teacher. I requested to observe two of her classes, and she kindly agreed. I eagerly joined the class where the topic being taught was "Reading Maps." The lesson was not only informative but also interactive, as the teacher incorporated various activities to help students understand the concepts better. It was encouraging to see the students actively participating, which made the learning experience even more enriching.

Following the class, I approached my teacher again to discuss my role and any requirements she had for me. She assigned me a chapter to prepare and also invited me to observe another class tomorrow, providing yet another chance to learn and gain insights into effective teaching techniques. I then took some time to complete my observation report, reflecting on the teaching strategies and student engagement I had witnessed.

Later, I joined other student teachers in collecting details of the students who participated in the painting competition, an event organized as part of the subject association activities. It was a great way to interact with the students and learn more about their interests and talents.

To wrap up the day, I marked the attendance and left the school, feeling accomplished and excited for the learning opportunities that lie ahead. Each day of the induction program is proving to be a valuable experience, helping me grow both as a learner and a future educator.
