Reflection - Induction days

I had the opportunity to conduct a session for Class 8A on the chapter titled "Economic Thought" from the Part 2 Social Science textbook. This chapter is related to economics.

I began by introducing myself to the students and then moved on to the topic, connecting it with their prior knowledge. I engaged the class by discussing human wants, encouraging the students to participate. The students responded enthusiastically, with one student expressing a desire for a car, which helped me establish a relatable starting point for the lesson.

As the lesson progressed, I guided the students through key economic concepts, starting with the factors of production and their associated rewards. We then transitioned to discussing basic economic problems, where I explained the concepts by relating them to the financial situations students might observe in their own households. This approach encouraged active participation and helped the students understand the practical applications of the concepts.

After explaining the topics in detail, I invited the students to ask questions or clarify any doubts. The class concluded after ensuring that there were no further questions.
