Celebrating Womanhood: PTMCE Women’s Day Rally and Flash Mob
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, PTM College of Education (PTMCE) embraced the spirit of empowerment and solidarity by organizing a vibrant celebration that left a lasting impact. The day began with a powerful rally that commenced from the college premises and proceeded all the way to Uchakkada Junction. The rally was not just a walk—it was a statement, a symbol of unity, strength, and the enduring voice of women determined to bring change.
Upon reaching Uchakkada Junction, the celebration took a lively turn as the students and staff of PTMCE captivated the public with an energetic flash mob. With synchronized moves and expressive gestures, the performers conveyed themes of gender equality, resilience, and the importance of women’s contributions to society. The unexpected performance drew the attention of onlookers and added a creative spark to the day’s events.
After the flash mob, the group returned to the college with a sense of accomplishment and pride. The celebration was more than just an event—it was a reminder of how collective action, creativity, and courage can inspire a community.
PTMCE’s Women's Day celebration was a perfect blend of awareness, art, and activism, echoing the core message of the day: Empowered women empower the world.
