Weekly Reflection

This week was filled with active teaching, classroom engagement, and school activities. I introduced new portions in Class 9, guided students through individual activities, and completed pending academic tasks. I also took part in distributing papers, offering feedback, and maintaining discipline duties. Alongside regular teaching, I contributed to preparations and co-curricular activities, which enhanced my organisational and classroom management skills. The highlight of the week was the Sports Day celebration, which created an energetic and team-spirited environment for both students and teachers. Overall, the week strengthened my teaching experience and gave me opportunities to grow in handling diverse responsibilities within the school setting.

The first week of my teaching practice has been a blend of excitement, nervousness, and deep learning. Stepping into the classroom not as a student but as a teacher trainee was a surreal experience. The week began with introductions and classroom observation, followed by my initial teaching sessions. I aimed to make the sessions engaging and meaningful. While I initially struggled with classroom management and sticking to the time limit, the experience helped me understand the importance of planning, flexibility, and understanding learner diversity. The students responded positively to visual aids and real-life examples, which boosted my confidence. My guide teacher provided valuable feedback, and peer interactions helped me improve further. Overall, this week has been a rewarding learning experience, and I look forward to applying new strategies and improving my teaching in the weeks to come.

Annual sports meet conducted on 01/02/2025 Saturday at college ground .The sports meet starts with March past followed by other events.Iam included in the March past from B ed section.Adheena ,first year B ed Malayalam secured the title of sports champion.The winners of the sport meet is from D.ELED section.
