weekly report (aug 25-28)

From August 25 to 28, my teaching practice was marked by steady progress in both teaching and exam preparations. Each morning I reached school on time, signed the attendance, and actively participated in classroom and examination duties. I revised portions in Classes 8 and 9, prepared students for the upcoming Onam examinations, and supported them with individual and group activities. Alongside teaching, I handled responsibilities like arranging exam materials, helping with seating, and maintaining discipline during breaks. This period also included planning and rehearsing for cultural activities related to Onam. The week gave me a balanced experience of teaching, administrative tasks, and student interaction, strengthening my skills in classroom management and teamwork.

The first week of my teaching practice has been a blend of excitement, nervousness, and deep learning. Stepping into the classroom not as a student but as a teacher trainee was a surreal experience. The week began with introductions and classroom observation, followed by my initial teaching sessions. I aimed to make the sessions engaging and meaningful. While I initially struggled with classroom management and sticking to the time limit, the experience helped me understand the importance of planning, flexibility, and understanding learner diversity. The students responded positively to visual aids and real-life examples, which boosted my confidence. My guide teacher provided valuable feedback, and peer interactions helped me improve further. Overall, this week has been a rewarding learning experience, and I look forward to applying new strategies and improving my teaching in the weeks to come.

Annual sports meet conducted on 01/02/2025 Saturday at college ground .The sports meet starts with March past followed by other events.Iam included in the March past from B ed section.Adheena ,first year B ed Malayalam secured the title of sports champion.The winners of the sport meet is from D.ELED section.
