INNOVATIVE WORK

Innovative Work Presentation on Landforms – Class 9A

As part of my B.Ed. teaching practice, I presented an innovative work on “Landforms” to the students of Class 9A at GHSS Kamaleswaram. The objective of this activity was to make the topic more interesting and to help students visually understand the different landforms of the Earth in a creative and engaging way.

The innovative work included a 3D model showcasing major landforms such as mountains, plateaus, plains, valleys, and deserts. Each landform was clearly labeled and color-coded to help students easily identify and differentiate between them. I also explained how these landforms are formed due to internal and external forces of the Earth such as erosion, deposition, and volcanic activity.

The students were very curious and excited to explore the model. They observed each feature carefully and asked meaningful questions about how landforms are formed and their importance in human life. The visual representation helped them connect textbook concepts with real-world geography.

This innovative work not only enhanced students’ understanding but also made the classroom environment more interactive and joyful. It was a satisfying experience to see the learners showing genuine interest and enthusiasm toward the topic.
