Weekly Blog Update (Sept 15–17, 2025)

The week was filled with diverse teaching-learning experiences and school activities. On September 15, apart from teaching Class 9, I got an opportunity to handle a substitution period in Class 6, where I engaged the students with interesting activities. My subject teacher also suggested me to take extra classes, which boosted my confidence. September 16 began with a special assembly and the distribution of certificates for the Arts and Science Fair. Later, I took remedial teaching sessions for Class 9 students and continued portions in the regular class. On September 17, along with my lessons, I was given the responsibility to guide students with ideas for models and working projects for the upcoming Science and Social Science Fair. I also conducted remedial map work sessions for Class 9 students. These days not only gave me teaching practice but also allowed me to explore my skills in guiding, motivating, and supporting students beyond textboook.

The first week of my teaching practice has been a blend of excitement, nervousness, and deep learning. Stepping into the classroom not as a student but as a teacher trainee was a surreal experience. The week began with introductions and classroom observation, followed by my initial teaching sessions. I aimed to make the sessions engaging and meaningful. While I initially struggled with classroom management and sticking to the time limit, the experience helped me understand the importance of planning, flexibility, and understanding learner diversity. The students responded positively to visual aids and real-life examples, which boosted my confidence. My guide teacher provided valuable feedback, and peer interactions helped me improve further. Overall, this week has been a rewarding learning experience, and I look forward to applying new strategies and improving my teaching in the weeks to come.

Annual sports meet

Annual sports meet conducted on 01/02/2025 Saturday at college ground .The sports meet starts with March past followed by other events.Iam included in the March past from B ed section.Adheena ,first year B ed Malayalam secured the title of sports champion.The winners of the sport meet is from D.ELED section.
