3 rd week of TP

The week from November 3 to 7 was a significant phase of my second spell of teaching practice. I continued my teaching at AMHSS THIRUMALA, actively engaging in classroom instruction, substitution duties, and various school activities.

On November 3 (Monday) I handled the 5th and 7th periods for classes 9 and 8. I also had a substitution in 9B. My optional teacher from the college came for observation on that day. I completed my lesson in 9B confidently and received positive feedback.

On November 4 (Tuesday) I conducted regular classes during the 6th and 7th periods for classes 8 and 9 and took substitution in 10C. After fulfilling my noon duty I left the school. The day went smoothly, and I was able to maintain good classroom discipline.

On November 5 (Wednesday)I had classes in the 5th and 7th periods for 9th and 8th standards. I also assisted in the IT practical examination for 8th-grade students. It was a new experience observing how practical exams were conducted and assisting the teacher in coordinating the process.

On November 6 (Thursday), I took class for 9B in the second period and completed the portion successfully. Later, I handled class 8B during the 6th and 8th periods. The students were active participants, and the day gave me more confidence as a teacher.

On November 7 (Friday I concluded the week by teaching classes 9 and 8 in the 3rd and 6th periods respectively. I also managed substitution duties and assisted with the mid-term activities The interactions with students helped me improve my communication and teaching strategies.

Overall, this week was productive and enriching. I became more comfortable with managing classes independently and could apply various teaching techniques effectively. The experience also enhanced my classroom management skills, time management, and adaptability as a trainee teacher.
